London Rents Rose the Most Since 2017 Arising from Supply Shortage

London rents had the highest increase as demand for rentals exceed the supply of properties continuously, chalking up the higher cost-of-living pressures on tenants in one of the world’s most expensive properties.

According to the Office for National Statistics, private rental prices in London grew 2.1% in the year in many areas that may not be as hot as the the capital are quickly catching up in an accelerated numbers since 2017.
